Soohyun Kim is a photographer who researches the catalyzing potential of art for social change. In his role as Assistant Director at the National Photographers Association of Korea (2005-2010), he traveled to remote villages, working with families to preserve their photographs, document their homes and take portraits for use in daily life. He plays a similar role in Tamms Year 10 campaign, photographing members, their domestic spaces and campaign events. He is currently working with the Fight for Fifteen campaign to raise the minimum wage. Kim has MFA from Hongik University in 2010 and a second MFA from University of Illinois at Chicago.
